He has come a long way since his appearance in the tv series Pangako sa Iyo (as Dyno Zuryete) and Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan (as Lauro), he now plays the role of Juno in the hit tv series Dyesebel. But he was really first noticed in Liberated and Bridal Shower because of the sexy nature of his characters. And as Aquil in the hit tv series Encantadia and as Amarro in Etheria.
He's also one of the Cosmopolitan 69 Bachelors of 2007, thus making him one of the finest hunks in Philippine entertainment.

alfred vargas is one of the best actors we have in the philippines. he's done so many roles that have proven his acting skills. he's one of the most beautiful man in the industry too.the picture of a real Filipino, tall, dark and handsome... but alfred often get supporting roles. i think he's not given a very good break that would show all his talents an skills as an actor in a starring role. alfred can act way better than a lot of actors we have now and he has proven himself enough to show the philippines andthe world that he he deserves more than what he has now. go alfred!
